start out with that famous French onion
soup gratin a right you're gonna do the
onions we stop you down here but a part
of onion here I would say that six
people that's great so I have my onion
ready for you no don't wipe with a
little bit of a time which will take
about eight to ten minutes over moderate
flame then you brown them but it's very
important to take it thoroughly cooked
and you really want it nice and dark
you're a rich color put your onion soup
or on this because it tend to spill over
and all that and you make a mess almost

in mine here right okay so this brings
back to a boil I mean the chicken stock
is cooked do you want to taste it how
long should this come you think half an
hour together not even then you're not
being cooked for so long I think it
needs salt right
pepper and I'll let you put the wine in
it because this is your touch some time
actually I've seen done with a bit of a
white one but never with a bit of red
wine would you take much color dark here

close to a cup of grated cheese for

yeah so you really want to fight it up
on top and those onions who born of a
kind of little border here and it hold
the cheese this way so I'm gonna put
that in
in the oven around 400 degree and that
will take a good 35 40 minute smells
good
I think it's ready it's nice and crusty

30 to 40 minutes at least yes you can
see really hot that we put it on the
plate yeah I mean you have a thick crust
here no but she's basically what you
wanted all that cheese are good with a
glass of red wine a piece of cheese
maybe no cheese but a fruit then you
have a meal that's real hard I'm good
you have asbestos mouth whoa wait a
minute smell so good
