lazy man chicken rice with cream of
mushroom okay so I wanted to just say
also thank you so very much
for all my my lovely butterflies and my
subscribers and the likes I got from
that particular meal 1 million views on
that meal alone and the reason why
people want to know why I make chicken
because chicken chicken is very
inexpensive it's an easy meal to cook
and it's a variety of ways that you
could cook chicken and if you have a big
family like I do grow you better bring
that chicken out honcho so I want to say
thank you again and I'm gonna head to
the kitchen I'm gonna bring you guys

I'm gonna go ahead and start so this is
a chicken I purchased yesterday I told
you guys right I showed you this
yesterday in my home my 8ub haul right
it's just great season chicken but it's
not season to my liking so we know me
girl I'm gonna add more seasoning to
this meat this okay so when I want to
make or prepare my food I always think
about how many people in my family and
how many pieces my family will eat well
my husband's a big manager was my son so
two for my husband too for my son Joseph
one for John David one for your side and
one for me that's enough chicken right
yeah right
so I'm going to go ahead and show you
what you're gonna add your seasoning if
you have sea salt salt or seasoned all
that's fine you can use that or even
steak seasoning you can use that okay so
I'm gonna put some Lori's does the lowry
sorry about that seasoning salt on my
chicken please make sure you season your
chicken well I can't say it enough
season your food will that's laws right

yellow onions or white onions just chop
them up a lot of you guys feel of
meetings and watch me for years know
that my family don't eat onions like
that you know I don't have a salt pan
them I'm gonna show you exactly how you

your liking funny garlic powder
okay also I have chicken rub they're not

unless I'm baking food or you know

like that or if I'm measuring sugar you

gonna go ahead and put that parsley in
there see how that looks looks so pretty

parsley on there I'm then gonna get some
Land O'Lakes butter here okay so I'm

place some green peppers these are green
peppers you can use green peppers or you
can use green onions or you don't you
can omit the green peppers it's totally
up to you this is just what I use green
peppers okay
it's already pre-seasoned so I don't
have to go back there then just mix them
even mixing it up with my hands green
bell peppers okay and I'm going to use
the rest of these green peppers green
bell peppers I'm gonna push them over
here
cuz I'm going to use this for my side
dishes okay so that's what that looks
like okay I'm gonna put that over there

alright now I'm gonna have I have these
mushrooms okay now at this point of time
if you want you can use water or chicken
broth water or chicken broth okay it's
what you have on hand it's what you have
on hand in your and
cabinets because we're going to get the
rice that we have right here I'm gonna
rinse my rice off really really well you
don't have to if you don't want to close
I rinsed my rice because often times I
find sometimes rocks inside the rice
debris like the right so that's why I
always went to my rice off you don't
have to if you don't want to I'm gonna
do okay I'm going to go ahead and put
since it's just me my husband Johnny Joe
and just like ispired people right so
I'm just going to go ahead and use three
three cups of rice into this meal okay
if you have a bigger family use more
rice if you don't want to use the reuse
- it doesn't matter but we already know
that it takes about 20 minutes to to
boil rice right so I'm going to go ahead
and clean this rice and that's contain
in a bowl and I'm gonna put it in here
but I wanna show you that to it be right
back okay girls I'm back now don't that
look good that looks really good doesn't
it right here if you just want to put
some chicken broth in here or add water
you can't and just go ahead and bake
like that if you want to it's totally up
to you now this pot right here I already
went stopped my rice so here I have
three cups of rice that's going to go
inside of my pants

okay you see how that rocks is on that
chicken right there right so I'm gonna
do because I'm gonna spread out that
I don't spit out the rocks right so
I want to make sure the rice is all
under the chicken on the sides of the
chicken and everything okay I'm putting
it up with water in here

because I want this to cook in the oven
to bake in the other okay so I'm not I
said if you don't want to use water
that's fine you go ahead and use what
you can bra okay and so now I'm going to
place it in the oven okay place it in
the oven just like this and let it bake
I'm gonna let this bake for the first
when you do it cuz I'm gonna be checking
20 minutes one half night I'm gonna be
checking on the chicken and the rice to
make sure it's cooked evenly okay that
the rice is cooked evenly inside of the
pan with the rock with the chicken okay

cook then bring it back down I'm gonna
show you it exactly what it looks like
okay I'm back so I'm at the stove and I
have a saucepan right here and what I
want to do and what I'm going to do is
put some vegetable oil inside I'm gonna
line the bottom of the pan okay just
line the bottom of the pan
when you're done using anything make
sure you're wiping it off that we've
done from that one that's the clean up
okay it's all lying at the bottom of
that pan and what I'm going to do now is
put those onions the yellow chopped up
onion and the bell pepper inside the oil

so I'm not gonna put any seasoning in
here at all I want to let this saute on
the stove like so okay well what are you
gonna do that what's that for okay
a nice vegetable or you can use olive
oil really doesn't matter okay so right
here I have in this pot green beans
green beans are in this pot okay so I'm
gonna put that second can of green beans
and the pot you see that see that those
are green beans honey okay ring dings
okay so I'm gonna mix that
and what I'm gonna add to the green
beans I'm gonna turn it down low the
good thing about having a gas oven or a
stove is that you can you know change
the heating yourself I guess I love the
flexibility to have having that I really
love it
okay stop sorry about that okay so I'm
back over here right so those are the
green beans right I'm going to take the
apple cider vinegar just plain old apple
cider vinegar I'm going to pour that
into the green beans sister oh my
goodness yes ma'am yes ma'am okay I'm
gonna let this cook on three for now
okay on three I'm going to put the top
on that now that's that cook and chill
there saute onions and bell peppers are
ready and then I'm gonna take them out
okay take them out of here I'm gonna
place them into the pot of green beans

after the green beans are done I'll be

oh yeah for your oven please make sure
you place your oven on for your baked
chicken your ladies man chicken with
rice 375 375 we're gonna bake that on
375 for 20 minutes okay
I'm gonna bring it off the oven after
that give it a look-see look around look
at in everything after 20 minutes to
rush it almost be done correct there's
only takes 20 minutes for rice to cook
right on on top of the stove or in your
rice cooker right so we're doing it in
the oven gonna do for 20 minutes after
that that's when you're gonna get your a
cream of mushroom now you're going to
get one or two cans
three depending on your the size of your
family right and we're gonna mix that
all good that good good deliciousness
into your lazy man chicken and rice okay
and then we're going to put it back in
the oven and this time we're going to
let it bake for about what a good 15 20
more minutes we're gonna pull it out
keep on looking cuz rather like that
later on right then have us like you
know you got a light right here right
have your oven right off have your oven
light on okay and look inside the oven
or over to ooh look at that shake Oh
looking good okay out for 20 minutes
okay then we're gonna turn on I'll show
you like this I want you to turn on
don't be afraid of your broiler don't be
afraid of the broiler that's the ROI L
don't be afraid of that because I want
you to do I want you to turn that
broiler on for about three minutes
between three to five minutes but the
gas stove oven it's gonna go little bit
quicker so it's safe to be mid three
minutes with this with a gas okay
and you're gonna watch crisp and brown
at the top of your meal then you're
gonna turn it off and you're gonna put a
little foil over it and just let it bake
this sort of pink don't do nothing else
but let it bake after another 20 minutes
cuz you're still looking we're still
looking at it and hey we can change the
to okay all right well chase it now
because this you know the chicken is
cooked through 375 right I usually play
with it with the oven at this time I'll
take it at 375 for 20 minutes bring it
back down at 325 but but between that
sheet and 350 but between that time I
might I'm just watching it cook well

beans I've been doing it for 28 years
okay I'm war so I'm so used to doing it
that way that that's why I don't get out
measurements I'm an old mama you know
how granny and Mama said get it

sure that we're wiping the bottom of the
pan right you don't want to say anything
on the pan we're on the stove or oven it

that's gonna be on low number two that
thing go ahead simmer and cook okay now
over here is where I have my yams
pour that into exile when I use it use
for my yams I put butter real butter
butter okay rub butter okay
I also put ground nutmeg it's gonna
start snowing like pumpkin pie in here
okay ground nutmeg as well as ground
cinnamon and let me show you the grime

I'm using in okay this is what I use for
my yams and I'm telling you my family
goes crazy and I also have some sugar
now the sugar is to your taste buds to
your taste buds okay okay and then we're
gonna mix it around see I look at Mom's
and I can tell if it's enough cinnamon
nutmeg or sugar you can use a half a cup
of sugar 1/4 cup of sugar so Lea to use
your coupons I'm filling to me okay
ground cinnamon that's all you need when
you're making your okay okay so top back

on okay I'm back I've opened up my oven
and I am I have a spoon on the ground
spoon here we go and I'm going around
the chicken to make sure that the rice
is evenly distribute and it's cooking
you don't want to put too much like
excuse me um water or chicken broth in
here just enough you're not covering the
top of the chicken maybe halfway up the
chicken okay so I'm just making sure let
the rice is being cooked along with the
mushrooms green bell peppers okay all
right okay you see that I want you guys
to see that I'm gonna push it right back
inside the oven now okay and I'm gonna
let it cook for a half an hour more then
check on it again
